Mixologists.blogspot.com is a forum in which the members will attempt to discover one of the universe's most elusive elements: Mixenium, otherwise known as the perfect mix CD.
Here is how the process works:

- A theme is selected by the site contributors.
- Once a theme has been selected, those who wish to conduct an experiment are encouraged to make a mix and submit said mix's track listing by posting a comment against the mix topic.
- If your experiment is deemed meritable, the site moderators may select it for special recognition with its own blog post.
- You will have 14 days from the day the topic is posted to complete your experiment.
- While not required, mixes should contain cover art.
